2nd ANNUAL BREEDERS INCENTIVE FUTURITY

October 24-27, 2024

Kjerstad Event Center, Rapid City, SD

Rates for Nomination:

$500.00 Stallion annually                            Weanling - $50

$100.00 Mare annually                               Yearling - $150.00

                                                            2-year-old -  $300.00

                                                             3-year-old - $50

All colts and fillies must be eligible, being produced by either a subscribed Stallion or Mare.

 Resident and member requirements: Owner and rider must be a resident of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Wyoming, Iowa or Nebraska and member in good standing of NCHA and SDCHA.

Breeders Stakes Rules:

Classes held: Futurity Open, Futurity Non-Pro

1. Prize money is prorated between the Open and the Non-Pro 60/40.
2. Must be shown all times class is offered to be eligible.
3. Highest combined scores will be declared Champion.
4. All horses will be checked on the same date for eligibility just prior to the draw.
5. Open riders may show an unlimited number of horses.
6. Entries close day of show.
7. The Futurity will consist of three rounds and a pencil final.
8. Payout will follow the NCHA Payout table.
9. A copy of the horse’s papers must accompany the entry form. Social Security/Tax Id numbers must be furnished. Any entry that does not furnish a Tax Id or SS# will have the winning check withheld until that information is provided.
10. All NCHA rules apply.
11. All decisions of show management are final.
12. The show may be cancelled at any time prior to the start of the event without liability to SDCHA.

Renew your 2024 NCHA and SDCHA memberships.

You must either bring a copy of your horses papers with you to the shows, or email our show secretary Susie Reed at sreed@gwtc.net. You must bring a copy of your current NCHA membership card (for rider & owner) or you can also email with horses papers. Check eligibility for classes by going to www.nchacutting.com Having the above completed before the show, makes it much easier on the show secrectaries. Thank you for assistance
